Value Village Sign

Face Lift Complete
Sign Is Finishing Touch

A crew from Devlin Signs were busy in the rain putting a new sign on the newly finished exterior of Value Village in the mall in Harewood.

This building was pretty much the last one to get a face lift during the extensive upgrade at the shopping centre at Bruce and Fifth Ave. in Harewood. In fact the end wall of Value Village is still tarped over as crews finish applying stucco to the end of the building. The whole project which has been ongoing for years, is a major improvement for the area which has seen many new stores open in this mall which was pretty much run down for a long time.

No doubt the 20,000 students who attend at VIU is an important component for the commercial viability of the mall, that and the fact that Harewood continues to attract new construction as not everyone wants to live in the north end of the city.
