New Owners No Plans To Replace Bestwick

Bestwick's Future Is Up To Him
It is reported in both the Daily and the Bulletin that the new owners of the Nanaimo Clippers have no intention of replacing popular coach and GM Bill Bestwick.

Apparently Bestwick has another year in his contract and according to the new owners they hope he is behind the bench next year.

They did point out that they have no control should Bestwick chose to leave the organization. The new owners also said that without a multiplex the possibility seeking a WHL team was unrealistic.
