Computer Virus Cleaned Out Nanaimo City Business As Usual

It should be business as usual on the City of Nanaimo website and at city offices come Monday morning as the IT department of the City have finally got the upper hand on the Qakbot virus that brought things to a standstill last Wednesday.

The IT staff have gone through all 400 city computers making sure the info stealing bug is no longer lurking within the network. Anyone who has visited the city of Nanaimo website during this time does not need to worry about the virus entering their computer.
