Balance Is Restored In The Bathtub City!

Sword Back In Rightful Place

With the Great International Bathtub Race barely 100 days away it was good to see the gleaming sword back in the hand of the statue commemorating the original Admiral of the Fleet.

You may recall the sword was taken last year and the statue just never looked right without the hallmark sword grasped in 'Black Franks' hand.

The local foundry would have us believe the sword is only gleaming because it has not had time to develop the patina which only exposure to weather can bring. I like to believe it is because of something much more magical and mystical!
