City Owes Harmac $197,000
Harmac mill has been successful in seeing it's application to have it's property reassessed with the end result they will be getting $197,000 back from city taxpayers.
The value of the property was reduced under the appeal process to reflect current market values which are very much higher than the $13 million the mill was purchased for. This is good news for the mill owners who are currently enjoying a boom cycle expected to carry on for several years.
