BC Ferries Has Zero Tolerance Policy

Zero Tolerance For Drugs or Alcohol

BC Ferries is reminding customers that the consumption of drugs and alcohol on its ships and at its terminal is strictly prohibited. The corporation enforces a zero tolerance policy for motorists under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

BC Ferries takes reports of such misuse seriously and works with local police to bring the offense to the attention of the authorities. BC Ferries encourages customers witnessing the consumption of drugs or alcohol to report it to a BC Ferries employee.

BC Ferries wishes its customers a safe and fun Canada Day long weekend.
