Cleanup Crew Working on Bay Street
You might have did a double take on Saturday on Bay Street if you didn't know that the annual graffiti cleanup day was underway in Nanaimo.
Crews, clothed in protective gear equipped with graffiti fitting clean tools and solutions did their part to reclaim property defaced by local vandals.
The volunteers were treated to a barbecue after the clean up detail and some lucky participant won a iPod which was among several raffle prizes drawn for.
