Iconic Bastion Open With All New Exhibits
The old HBC fort which has watched over Nanaimo's harbours 158 years is once again reopened after being completely renovated last year.The three floors inside the Bastion contain historical recreations, photos and costumes not to mention a cannon or two.
The Bastion is open throughout the summer season from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm daily with the daily cannon firing at noon each day.
