Motocross Returns To Nanaimo This Weekend

Motorsport Series Returns To Nanaimo
Canada's largest Motorsport Series is returning to Nanaimo this weekend after a two year hiatus. The 2nd round of the Monster Energy Motocross National Series takes place at the Wastelands MX Park in Nanaimo June 11 & 12.

This is a great family event with amateur racing on June 11 and pro men's and women's racing on June 12. The event is expected to attract 600 riders in both categories.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate on event day: Adults $40/weekend, $25/Sunday, Under 12 $25/weekend, $15/Sunday and Pre-schoolers FREE.

If you're coming from the mainland you can take advantage of the great CoastSaver reduced ferry rates.

Come out and see local riders Dusty Klatt, Campbell River's 2010 Motocross National MX1 Champion, Camille Baker from Nanaimo will be racing in the Women's National Series and Corey Cardinal of Nanaimo who at 15 years of age placed 26th in the men's pro series in 2010.
