Postal Strike In Nanaimo

 Nanaimo Post Office Strike
Monday June 13

The rotating postal workers strike affecting 50,000 C.U.P.W. members from coast to coast arrives at the Nanaimo Post Office on Monday.
The one day strikes are being used by the postal union to bring about an end to their labour dispute with the post office. The post office claims they need to make cost cut backs as their revenues continue to fall and naturally union workers are reluctant to give up any current benefits.
