Only A 'Peak' Of Sunshine Promised
The weather we've been getting on the wet coast is being blamed on a stalled low pressure system and a series of rain systems which has resulted in a summer that feels more like fall.
The only bright spot in the forecast for the coming seven days appears to be this Sunday, which could be good news for the Silly Boat Race. We really need to let any of our out of town, out of province visitors know that this is a most unusual event, as by now we are usually applying the sunscreen and seeking the shade to keep cool, rather than putting on our toques and mittens.
