Increase In Area Daytime Robberies

Police are warning residents in the Townsite area to keep a lookout for anything suspicious in their area following an increase in daytime break ins. There have been several cases in the Townsite, Rosehill, Pryde and Cadogan area where homes have been entered during the afternoon while people are at work.

The thieves (expected to be teens) are gaining entry through unlocked backyard windows and making off with only small items which are easy to conceal and carry. If you see anything unusual you are urged to call the police at once at (250) 754-2345
