Cob Bench Quite Ornate
You may recall sometime ago that downtown eatery the Thirsty Camel Cafe on Victoria Cres. added a unique cob bench to the outside of their establishment. There was some discussion at the time of adding cob structures to different spots around town, and the suggestion is could be something Nanaimo could be known for. What ever became of that idea?
While downtown on Saturday morning I snapped this photo of the new artwork adorning the area behind this popular bench. Things were still wet on Saturday, but I'm sure many visitors to the popular cafe will be encouraged to sit awhile and enjoy.
