Fringetastic Theatre Festival, presented by Pacific Coast Stage Company, brings eight companies from Nanaimo, Vancouver and even Mexico to downtown Nanaimo September 8, 9, 10 & 11.
Inspired by Frank Ney who brought international attention to Nanaimo for the International Bathtub Races, the Fringetastic Theatre Festival will showcase international talents by local and distant performers. With Frank Ney as the vision that inspires us to make the festival as open and accessible as possible, after purchasing a festival membership, no performance tickets will be over $11, with many shows offering discounts for Artists, Volunteers, Students and Seniors. Feel like seeing all eight shows? Get a Multi-Pass, & check in with our outdoor box-office, Ticket Central (at Diana Krall Plaza September 8 – 11) to register for a discounted pass to 8 shows (if you’re flying solo), or 4 shows with a friend. Mix and match as you please and enjoy the entire buffet of theatre!
