Council Gives Final Approval
Perhaps we have heard the last of the ongoing saga about the development at Westwood Lake which over a period of 17 years has morphed from a campsite to a full blown strata property.
The council decision to allow a variance will mean that the residents of the park who have been living in a state of legal limbo for years will finally have some certainty about their housing future.
The site has been the centre of an ongoing battle with local residents that has spanned many councils, and could probably be a text book case for how a city simply screwed up.
