Business Buzzing at Beban Business Expo
The 2011 Business Expo put on by the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by TD Canada Trust and several other local businesses, shows the Nanaimo business community is alive and out for business.
Over 80 local businesses were represented at the Business Expo yesterday at Beban Park auditorium. While the primary purpose of the expo was to introduce business services to other businesses there was lots of interest to the general public as well.
In addition to the displays there were two workshops where businesses could 'Ask the Experts' about two specific topics; financial tips for your business and employee relations. The Expo opened at 1:00 pm and wound down at 6:00 pm with a good turnout and lots of 'business buzz'. Whenever you get that many business people assembled in one place there is definitely a very positive 'vibe' in the air that simply is good for your attitude!
