Council's Contribution Recognized
Mr. Gordie Robinson of the Nanaimo Marine Rescue Society presented Mayor Ruttan with of picture of the new rescue vessel the "J.C. McGregor". Mr Robinson made the presentation in appreciation of Council's contribution towards the purchase of this state of the art, $500,000 search and rescue boat for the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
