Register Your Child Early
For September 2012 School Start
If you are the parent of a new student in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith school district who will be starting school in Sept. 2012 or if you wish to change schools or program, you can register starting this coming Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012.
If your child will be five years old before Jan. 1, 2013 you have the option of enrolling them for the Sept. 2012 school start, or deferring enrollement until the following year. If you wish to register your child for the 2012 start, the school board encourages you to register your child at the closest school as soon as possible, bringing your child's birth certificate and proof of address.
If you wish to register your child in a school outside your catchment area the deadline for that registration is March 30, 2012.
