ICBC's Cyclist & Drivers Safety Tips

Bike To Work Week
May 28 - June 3

As the warmer weather approaches, it traditionally signals the start of cycling season around the province. May 28 to June 3 also marks the annual Bike to Work Week in British Columbia. This means there will be even more cyclists on our roads and everyone needs to use extra caution to safely get to where they’re going.

On average, 1,400 cyclists are injured and nine cyclists are killed in crashes on B.C. roads every year. Many of these tragedies are preventable – we can all do our part to help make our roads safer.
