The first annual Nanaimo Barbecue Festival sponsored by Thrifty Foods is looking for interested members of the community to fill volunteer duties needed to make a huge success of this mega festival. This first-ever Nanaimo event promises to draw people from far and wide to this two day, Kentucky City Barbecue Society Sanctioned Event. It will mean that world class BBQer's will be in town competing for major prize money, and as you know these guys and gals take their Barbecuing VERRRYYYY seriously.
In addition to all the great food being prepared, sampled and judged, there will be a myriad of fun family events taking place downtown as well, these include:
