Collective Living Makes A Lot Of Sense

While the idea of collective living may not be for everyone it does provide a sensible, viable alternative to trying to pay for a dwelling you live in by yourself.

Beyond the obvious financial benefits there are many social benefits as well, presuming people living collectively would likely share some fundamental world views such as the importance of living green as an example.

Every generation or so some among us seem to embrace what our fast paced, consumer and credit driven society  does not do very well. That is a real sense of community starting right where you live. From the Kibbutz in Israel to the 'hippy' communes of recent years it seems there is always a some of our numbers that look for something more fulfilling than the lifestyle the majority seem to embrace.
