The First Three To Ring The Bell
The first three tubbers to ring the bell this year were:
- Tub # 933 driven by Heine sponsored by Angus Ross
- Tub # 555 driven by Leigh sponsored by Tom Harris Auto
- Tub # 240 driven by Barlow sponsored by himself
My apologies to third place tubber Mr. Barlow, as the heavens opened up before he came in and I was under a tree attempting vainly to stay dry, but also to protect by cameras. Being a long time west coaster, I felt no need to take an umbrella, as we know it never rains on Bathtub Race Day!
