Night Deposits Stolen
It is reported in the Bulletin that at 9:20 pm on Friday night a businesswoman was pushed to the ground and after a struggle was robbed of a night deposit bag.
The incident took place inside the CIBC bank in Port Place Shopping Centre where the thief attacked the woman from behind, pushed her to the ground and wrenched the bag from her grip.
The thief then fled on foot heading toward the waterfront. It is believed he was dressed in black which possibly had some white on it and was wearing a dark baseball cap and may have had a dark complexion.
Because it was still light outside police believe someone may have seen what happened, and anyone with information is asked to call the RCMP at 250-754-2345 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
