$60,000 Taken From Dormant TD Bank Accounts
The Times Colonist is reporting that Frederick Scott Deering, 48 will appear in court Sept. 25 to face charges of theft and fraud after $60,000 vanished from dormant bank accounts.
Police are saying that no Nanaimo bank account holders were affected although deering was employed at the TD Canada Trust Terminal Park and Turner Road branches.
An investiagation in Sept. 2010 was started when discrepancies became apparent. Deering had his employment terminated in Oct. 2010.
