Both the
Times Colonist and the
Vancouver Sun are reporting that David Black is proposing the building of a $13 Billion refinery near Kitimat which would result in the shipping of gasoline, diesel and kerosene via tankers . A world-scale refinery would produce 6,000 jobs over a six year buildout and 3,000 long-term jobs in operation and spinoff employment.
