Nanaimo Snapshots Aug. 12, 2012

Can You Identify These Nanaimo Locations?

If you can't identify the location of the picture on the left, you clearly aren't from around here. :^)

The other two may not be quite as obvious, I invite you to leave a comment with your guesses of where these three downtown Nanaimo shots were taken.

  1. Clearly one is a church roof, but I don't know which one, and obviously one is the bastion, but where the joggers are jogging isn't clear to me.

  2. The church is St. Paul’s Anglican on Chapel Street ..... complete with resident seagulls on the peak of the roof. Several of them are usually lined up in an orderly fashion and perform their loud sing-a-long. It is quite entertaining to see and hear!

I believe that the third photo is part of Cameron Island.
    Great photos, as usual!

  3. Janet is right about the church, I was past there the other day and they seem to be regular church goers alright. The jogging photo I also believe to be at Cameron Island near the entrance to the visitors pier.
Of course the one on the left is our world famous Bastion of course.
    Do I win a prize??
