Malahat Crash Victims From Nanaimo

Accident Victims Identified

Pheat Top the driver of the car and mother of Sarina Top,6, who survived the crash and Diane Muriel Lacasca Bocacao,19 and Gene Kloie Resu Jamisola (known as Kloie), 16 were the victims and all worked at the Tim Horton's at 2980 Island Highway North. A 20 year old male occupant of the vehicle remains in hospital in serious condition, he works at the Tim Hortons at Brooks Landing.

The vehicle they were riding in lost control and skidded into the path of a northbound pickup truck. All of the occupants of the truck were taken to hospital and one was released on Monday morning. 

Emergency personnel on the scene have described the accident as the worst they have ever seen with so much damage to the one vehicle it first looked as if three vehicles had been involved.
