Nanaimo Electronic Town Hall March 25

City hosts e-Town Hall Budget Meeting March 25th

(Nanaimo B.C., March 12, 2013) – The City of Nanaimo will host its first e-Town Hall Budget Meeting March 25th, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Shaw Auditorium at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.

The event has been specially organized to allow citizens an opportunity to ask questions related to the City’s 2013 annual budget. Participation has been made easy through the following methods.
Citizens wishing to ask questions electronically can use:
  • Facebook - register to ask questions – (cnan.ca/fbtownhall)
  • Twitter – participate by following the e-Town Hall Budget Meeting hashtag (to be announced the day of the event)
  • Webform – submit your questions starting March 17th
Citizens without access to the internet can also participate by:

  • Phone – call in your questions the night of the event by dialing 250-754-4251
  • In person – join Council and staff at the Shaw Auditorium located at the VICC
Citizens wishing to just watch the meeting can:

  • Tune into the regular Shaw TV Community Programming or use the online video player on the City’s website at www.nanaimo.ca/goto/livevideo
