Spring Is In The Air - Hummer Reno

Time To Renovate The Homestead

Local photo artist Sheryl Falls snapped this incredible image of a local hummingbird collecting building material from a bull rush. When combined with spider webs and other such material, this busy little bird will have the perfect spot to raise this years brood of new hummers.

If you've ever looked closely at the way bird's nests are constructed they truly are something that makes you wonder. We may call them bird-brained, but give us a hand full of twigs, fluff and other stuff, a pair of tweezers and just see how well we do.

More of Sheryl's interesting images can be seen on her photostream HERE.

  1. Wow.....what clear detail.... just amazing. The best I have been able to get is a small bird with very blurry wings...... excellent!!!!!
