A Black Headed Grosbeak In Nanaimo

This pleasant surprise visited out feeder for two days this past weekend, much to our delight. I presume this fellow got a little off course as they are not very usual in this area apparently.

They definitely look like a Grosbeak but have a very striking plumage with their orange, black and white colors. We only saw the one, so presume he got separated from the flock somehow.
