Councilllors Johnstone, Brennan, Anderson & Greves
As I recall one of the first examples of how this bunch treats your tax dollar was when they voted to add $700,000 to the financial plan against the advice of the city manager to hire a spin doctor for city hall. That motion was introduced by Councillor Brennan.
They recently decided to spend $180,000 to solve a $20,000 problem on a building that is not up to seismic standards and could see the loss of 150 souls should an earthquake strike.
They also chose to give away a $3,000,000 building for $1.00 and now they are embarking on another folly which could set a match to millions of tax dollars needlessly and see the permanent destruction of Colliery Dam Park lakes.
Too bad there is no mechanism to recall council members!
