Strange Structure On Chapel Street


Does anyone know what this peculiar looking building is all about? It looks like a project you might expect to see at a trade school or high school shop class.

Clearly is does not adhere to any seismic building code, or perhaps any other building code for that matter. I have been by several times and there never seems to be any activity or sign as to what the purpose of the building will be.

    According to City's website, an application was submitted on 2013-May-21 regarding 10 Chapel Street. Description: Site built temp sales office/show room. 480 square feet, Group D.

    I've heard it will be a sales office for the condos that are going to be built on the adjacent parking lot.
