Nanaimo Downtown Farmers' Market

A Popular Spot At The Market

The weather has certainly helped fill Pioneer Plaza with many happy shoppers looking for unique purchases at the Downtown Farmers' Market, where everything is either grown, made or baked by the vendors. No imported big box 'made offshore' merchandise to be found here.

The fountain at one end of the plaza is a popular spot with young and old, just wanting to cool off a bit, or perhaps sit and enjoy one of the many edible delights they have found at the market.

If you haven't visited the market this year, be sure to put it on your 'to-do' list as it is a pleasant way to spend some time, and their is always something unique for the world class shopper to enjoy. They are open every Friday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm through to October.
