The Nanaimo Conservatory of Music is hosting the second annual Jazz Superstar Concert Thursday (Aug. 22), 7:00 pm at Acme Food Co.
Featuring performances by Ken Lister, Christine Jensen, Ingrid Jensen and Joel Miller.
The concert is the culminating event of the conservatory’s Summer Jazz Intensive program to help youth immerse themselves in the music.
“I’m really happy that we’re able to do the jazz camp and concert again in Nanaimo and I’m thrilled to be working with Ken Lister, Joel Miller and my sister Ingrid,” said Christine Jensen, in a press release.
Tickets are $20/$10 students in advance by calling 250-754-4611 or $25/$15 students at the door.
