BC Ferries Schedule Options Online Survey

Online survey live from February 12 - 21

VICTORIA – BC Ferries announced it has now posted sailing schedule refinement options on its website in order to obtain as much meaningful feedback as possible from the communities affected by the service reductions.

BC Ferries has drafted schedule options which take into consideration feedback heard from a variety of sources, including the recent government engagement process, to ensure optimal sailing times are provided for its customers while still achieving the net savings. The company is soliciting public opinion regarding sailing schedule options through online and random telephone surveys. Customers are encouraged to review the draft schedule refinements at www.bcferries.com and offer their opinions between now and February 21, 2014.

“It’s important for the communities affected by the schedule adjustments to give us their input on the draft schedule options, and we urge our customers to take a few minutes to complete the online survey,” said Mike Corrigan, BC Ferries’ President and CEO.

BC Ferries will meet with community leaders, including Ferry Advisory Committee members, to review the feedback from the online and telephone surveys. New schedules will be in effect on 16 of the minor and northern routes as of April 28, 2014.
