Nanaimo Housing Starts Feb. 2014

Housing Starts In Nanaimo November 2013
Housing Starts Off 3%  
February 2014 / 2013
Single Detached Off 4 Units
Multiple Starts Up 3 Units 

Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo decreased in Feb. from 22 in 2013 to 18 in 2014 while multi-family units increased from 10 in 2013 and 13 in 2014 resulting in a combined total of 31 units in 2014 as opposed to 32 units in 2013.

YTD Total Starts Off 11%

Year to date single detached decreased from 37 in 2013 to 36 in 2014, multi-family decreased from 28 in 2013 to 22 in 2014 for a combined total decrease from 65 units in 2013 to 58 units in 2014.
