Another Bear Sighting in Buttertubs Marsh Nanaimo
Local photo artist Sheryl Falls reports to seeing a baby bear cub wandering the path at Buttertubs Marsh Wednesday afternoon at about 4:30pm.Falls reported that mama bear was nowhere in site and was concerned the cub could be an orphan. Chances are mama wasn't too far away, but keeping a sharp eye out is good policy, because getting between a mama bear and her cub is not a good idea.
