$12,000 Bench Stolen Over The Weekend
Sometime overnight on Sunday May 18th this 2.5 metre bench was stolen from in front of Istock Homes at 1595 Bowen Road. The bench is quite unique and has been carved from a dogwood log.
The 450 kilo bench would likely have caused a disturbance when it was being stolen and would have taken three or four people to remove it.
Police are hoping someone in the area would have witnessed the theft and will come forward with their report. It is also very distinctive and it is hoped someone will know of the bench's location and will report it to the RCMP at 250-754-2345 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
