Goats Working At Woodgrove Centre

Goats Clearing Vegetation At Woodgrove Centre

If you are out Woodgrove way this week you will see the same 'workers' the city hired to clear some vegetation in Bowen Park working on the slope at the back of the mall where the city buses sometimes park before proceeding on their routes.

Woodgrove Centre is always on the lookout for innovative ways they can incorporate to manage their mall, and anything with a 'green' benefit is always worth considering. This is an experiment at this point to see how these four-legged vegetation managers can control the greenery on their property.

The benefit of using goats of course is they are as Eco-friendly as you can get and nothing could be more natural for vegetation control.

The company 'Goats on the Hoof' are a fledgling start-up in the mid-island area and are generating a lot of interest in their novel approach to controlling unwanted vegetation. There are very few plants these goats can't turn into useful fertilizer without the use of dangerous chemicals or noisy equipment.

If you think you might like to consider hiring this team to control some unwanted vegetation on your property contact Goats on the Hoof at 250-927-5323 or 250-228-3724.
