$6,000 Raised by 'Walking a mile in her shoes'
35 men who are man enough to walk a mile in her shoes stuffed their feet into some sensible and some not-so-sensible footwear to help raise funds for the Haven Society.
The men were joined by friends and family, which saw about 100 people participate in the mile walk through downtown Nanaimo. They were provided a police escort courtesy of the Nanaimo RCMP.
