A smoldering hydro pole caused a bit of a disruption at the corner of Bastion and Commercial Street as police and fire officials kept citizens out of harms way while they waited for a hydro crew to arrive on the scene.
The hydro linemen quickly got the source of the fire and the fire under control which will probably result in a power disruption until the cause of the fire has been remedied.
