Things to do around Nanaimo Jun 20 - 22

We are starting to move into the summer festivals & events season and this weekend offers several different activities to check out:

Friday: the Downtown Farmer's Market in the plaza beside the Bastion, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, the Friday Evening Market in Diana Krall Plaza from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday: Miners Heritage Picnic in Deverill Park 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, Law Enforcement Torch Run, 12 noon in Maffeo Sutton Park, National Aboriginal Day in Bowen Park 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (picnic area off of Wall Street), National Aboriginal Day with Michael Kusugak, Harbourfront library 2:00 pm - 3:30pm

Sunday: Cedar Farmers' Market: Crow & Gate 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, Lantzville Farmers' Market St. Philips Church 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Solstice Sunday Potluck at Colliery Dam 1:00 pm
