Timberwest Considering $60M Pellet Plant

A recent article in the Daily News reports that Timberwest is in the planning stages of what could be a real boost to the local economy.

The facility would produce 200,000 tonnes of pellets per year making use of leftover fibre material coming from the forestry and manufacturing sectors. The facility is not a certainty and the company is in the due diligence phase of the project which could see 80 short term construction jobs, 60 indirect jobs and 15 permanent full time employees.
