Caledonia Park Ready For Football Season

Shiny New Bleachers Waiting For First Game

The new bleachers at Caledonia Park are now installed and just waiting for the first VI Raiders home game to see them filled with fans.

While the bleachers are a big improvement on the old wooden ones, the one downside, if there is one would be the lack of a roof over these bleachers, as it has been known to rain on occasion in Nanaimo.

The new washroom/changing rooms look to be complete as well. Just in time for this years football season. The first home game for the Raiders is August 16th at 4:00 pm against the Okanagan Sun.

For those who don't remember, this is what the old bleachers looked like. The new ones are clearly a major improvement.

  1. they actually forgot to fix up the change rooms, where did all the money go

i guess they were to busy destroying what was left of the runners track, just like they destroyed the runners track at grandview bowl at Beban park, they sure hate runners in nanaimo
