One Lane Traffic Each Way
Construction on Departure Bay Rd. right behind Brook's Landing has two lanes closed temporarily. It creates a few bottlenecks from time to time as normal two lane traffic has to squeeze into one lane.
It is a tricky place to control traffic as you have a very busy spot with traffic heading into or out of Departure Bay all day long and it is close to the Island Highway intersection as well, so it can get quite congested quite quickly if they don't keep traffic rolling along.
