Last Thursday at approximately 7:00 pm a bizarre abduction attempt took place on the Highway near Wendy's Restaurant at Rock City.
The suspect in a late 90's Ford F150 had been following the woman in her Ford Fiesta on the highway when he began honking the horn and flashing the trucks' lights. The woman pulled her car over, thinking there was something wrong with her car.
When the man approached her car, he said he wanted to take her for coffee, at which point she started to roll up her window. The suspect reached into the car and grabbed her by the arm. She began driving away and the man lost his grip on her arm.
The suspect is described as:
- white, in his 40's, good looking with an athletic build
- salt and pepper hair worn in a military cut
- pale, clean shaven, with light-coloured eyes
- high-pitched voice, like that of a teenager
- cleft chin and white mark on the bridge of the nose
- wearing a white T-shirt with a dragon symbol
- wearing a metal-banded wrist watch on his left wrist
