Single detached housing starts in Nanaimo increased in Nov. from 18 in 2013 to 23 in 2014 while multi-family units decreased from 48 in 2013 to 9 in 2014 resulting in a combined total of 32 units in 2014 as opposed to 66 units in 2013.
YTD Total Starts Up 48.5%
Year to date single detached increased from 189 in 2013 to 301 in 2014, multi-family increased from 194 in 2013 to 268 in 2014 for a combined total increase from 383 units in 2013 to 569 units in 2014.
