The BC Assessment interactive e-valueBC website is now open allowing you to check what your property assessment is for the year and what neighbouring properties have been valued at.
If you feel you property has been over valued you can appeal that assessment which will mean your tax bill will be lower. Remember if the assessed value of your home increases it also means your taxes will be increasing as well.
