The second day of the LNG Energy Seminar will include the Science World Energy Show featuring energy experiments and LNG demonstrations, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
There will be the LNG-Buy BC Contractor-Supplier Bootcamp from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm where business can learn about the LNG opportunities and about procurement opportunities.
WorkBC's 'Find Your Fit' Career Experience interactive event where youth and their parents can jump right in and try the skills they will need for different careers.
This is a good opportunity to get some of the facts about the extraction of natural gas which answers some of the misinformation being propagated by opponents of the LNG industry. Hydraulic fracturing has existed in British Columbia since the 1960's, with no incidence of groundwater contamination.
