How much did the cruise ship terminal cost to build?
ReplyDeleteAbout $25 million. It was not funded by the city. It was funded by the Feds, the Province and the Port Authority. Of course it is still tax dollars.
ReplyDeleteStill seems like a huge amount of money spent to attract how many tourists? I'm not sure that Nanaimo realizes that it's not nearly as attractive to tourist dollars as say Victoria?
ReplyDeleteBut thank you for answering my question. GG
I own a retail store up on Nicol Street and didnt see one tourist!
ReplyDeleteThanks nanaimo for sending them downtown and not promoting all small businesses.
All surrounding businesses, We pay the same amount of taxes.
Try fixing this!!!!!
